الأعراف

وَنَادَىٰٓand (will) call out أَصْحَٰبُ(the) companions ٱلْأَعْرَافِ(of) the heights رِجَالًا(to) men يَعْرِفُونَهُمwhom they recognize بِسِيمَىٰهُمْby their marks قَالُوا۟saying مَآnot أَغْنَىٰ(has) availed عَنكُمْ[to] you جَمْعُكُمْyour gathering وَمَاand what كُنتُمْyou were تَسْتَكْبِرُونَarrogant (about)۝٤٨ Āyah 48

أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِare these ٱلَّذِينَthe ones whom أَقْسَمْتُمْyou had sworn لَاthat allah (will) not grant them يَنَالُهُمُthat allah (will) not grant them ٱللَّهُthat allah (will) not grant them بِرَحْمَةٍmercy ٱدْخُلُوا۟enter ٱلْجَنَّةَparadise لَا(there will be) no خَوْفٌfear عَلَيْكُمْupon you وَلَآand not أَنتُمْyou تَحْزَنُونَwill grieve۝٤٩ Āyah 49

وَنَادَىٰٓand (will) call out أَصْحَٰبُ(the) companions ٱلنَّارِ(of) the fire أَصْحَٰبَ(to the) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) paradise أَنْ[that] أَفِيضُوا۟pour عَلَيْنَاupon us مِنَ[of] ٱلْمَآءِ(some) water أَوْor مِمَّاof what رَزَقَكُمُallah has provided you ٱللَّهُallah has provided you قَالُوٓا۟they (will) say إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah حَرَّمَهُمَاhas forbidden both عَلَىto ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers۝٥٠ Āyah 50

ٱلَّذِينَthose who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟took دِينَهُمْtheir religion لَهْوًا(as) an amusement وَلَعِبًاand play وَغَرَّتْهُمُand deluded them ٱلْحَيَوٰةُthe life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world فَٱلْيَوْمَso today نَنسَىٰهُمْwe forget them كَمَاas نَسُوا۟they forgot لِقَآءَ(the) meeting يَوْمِهِمْ(of) this day of theirs هَٰذَا(of) this day of theirs وَمَاand [what] كَانُوا۟(as) they used to بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاreject our verses يَجْحَدُونَreject our verses۝٥١ Āyah 51

وَلَقَدْand certainly جِئْنَٰهُمwe had brought (to) them بِكِتَٰبٍa book فَصَّلْنَٰهُwhich we have explained عَلَىٰwith عِلْمٍknowledge هُدًىa guidance وَرَحْمَةًand mercy لِّقَوْمٍfor a people يُؤْمِنُونَwho believe۝٥٢ Āyah 52

هَلْdo يَنظُرُونَthey wait إِلَّاexcept تَأْوِيلَهُۥ(for) its fulfillment يَوْمَ(the) day يَأْتِى(will) come تَأْوِيلُهُۥits fulfillment يَقُولُwill say ٱلَّذِينَthose who نَسُوهُhad forgotten it مِنbefore قَبْلُbefore قَدْverily جَآءَتْhad come رُسُلُ(the) messengers رَبِّنَا(of) our lord بِٱلْحَقِّwith the truth فَهَلso are (there) لَّنَاfor us مِنany شُفَعَآءَintercessors فَيَشْفَعُوا۟so (that) they intercede لَنَآfor us أَوْor نُرَدُّwe are sent back فَنَعْمَلَso (that) we do (deeds) غَيْرَother than ٱلَّذِىthat which كُنَّاwe used to نَعْمَلُdo قَدْverily خَسِرُوٓا۟they lost أَنفُسَهُمْthemselves وَضَلَّand strayed عَنْهُمfrom them مَّاwhat كَانُوا۟they used to يَفْتَرُونَinvent۝٥٣ Āyah 53
