التوبة

إِنَّمَاonly ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُthe charities لِلْفُقَرَآءِ(are) for the poor وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِand the needy وَٱلْعَٰمِلِينَand those who collect عَلَيْهَاthem وَٱلْمُؤَلَّفَةِand the ones inclined قُلُوبُهُمْtheir hearts وَفِىand in ٱلرِّقَابِthe (freeing of) the necks وَٱلْغَٰرِمِينَand for those in debt وَفِىand in سَبِيلِ(the) way ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَٱبْنِand the wayfarer ٱلسَّبِيلِand the wayfarer فَرِيضَةًan obligation مِّنَfrom ٱللَّهِallah وَٱللَّهُand allah عَلِيمٌ(is) all knowing حَكِيمٌall wise۝٦٠ Āyah 60

وَمِنْهُمُand among them ٱلَّذِينَ(are) those who يُؤْذُونَhurt ٱلنَّبِىَّthe prophet وَيَقُولُونَand they say هُوَhe is أُذُنٌ(all) ear قُلْsay أُذُنُan ear خَيْرٍ(of) goodness لَّكُمْfor you يُؤْمِنُhe believes بِٱللَّهِin allah وَيُؤْمِنُand believes لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers وَرَحْمَةٌand (is) a mercy لِّلَّذِينَto those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe مِنكُمْamong you وَٱلَّذِينَand those who يُؤْذُونَhurt رَسُولَ(the) messenger ٱللَّهِ(of) allah لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment أَلِيمٌpainful۝٦١ Āyah 61

يَحْلِفُونَthey swear بِٱللَّهِby allah لَكُمْto you لِيُرْضُوكُمْto please you وَٱللَّهُand allah وَرَسُولُهُۥٓand his messenger أَحَقُّ(have) more right أَنthat يُرْضُوهُthey should please him إِنif كَانُوا۟they are مُؤْمِنِينَbelievers۝٦٢ Āyah 62

أَلَمْdo not يَعْلَمُوٓا۟they know أَنَّهُۥthat he مَنwho يُحَادِدِopposes ٱللَّهَallah وَرَسُولَهُۥand his messenger فَأَنَّ[then] that لَهُۥfor him نَارَ(is the) fire جَهَنَّمَ(of) hell خَٰلِدًا(will) abide forever فِيهَاin it ذَٰلِكَthat ٱلْخِزْىُ(is) the disgrace ٱلْعَظِيمُthe great۝٦٣ Āyah 63

يَحْذَرُfear ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَthe hypocrites أَنlest تُنَزَّلَbe revealed عَلَيْهِمْabout them سُورَةٌa surah تُنَبِّئُهُمinforming them بِمَاof what فِى(is) in قُلُوبِهِمْtheir hearts قُلِsay ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟mock إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah مُخْرِجٌ(will) bring forth مَّاwhat تَحْذَرُونَyou fear۝٦٤ Āyah 64

وَلَئِنand if سَأَلْتَهُمْyou ask them لَيَقُولُنَّsurely they will say إِنَّمَاonly كُنَّاwe were نَخُوضُconversing وَنَلْعَبُand playing قُلْsay أَبِٱللَّهِis it allah وَءَايَٰتِهِۦand his verses وَرَسُولِهِۦand his messenger كُنتُمْ(that) you were تَسْتَهْزِءُونَmocking۝٦٥ Āyah 65

لَا(do) not تَعْتَذِرُوا۟make excuse; قَدْverily كَفَرْتُمyou have disbelieved بَعْدَafter إِيمَٰنِكُمْyour belief إِنif نَّعْفُwe pardon عَن[on] طَآئِفَةٍa party مِّنكُمْof you نُعَذِّبْwe will punish طَآئِفَةًۢa party بِأَنَّهُمْbecause they كَانُوا۟were مُجْرِمِينَcriminals۝٦٦ Āyah 66
