هود

وَلَقَدْand verily أَرْسَلْنَاwe sent نُوحًاnuh إِلَىٰto قَوْمِهِۦٓhis people إِنِّىindeed i am لَكُمْto you نَذِيرٌa warner مُّبِينٌclear۝٢٥ Āyah 25

أَنthat لَّا(do) not تَعْبُدُوٓا۟worship إِلَّاexcept ٱللَّهَallah إِنِّىٓindeed i أَخَافُ[i] fear عَلَيْكُمْfor you عَذَابَ(the) punishment يَوْمٍ(of) a day أَلِيمٍpainful۝٢٦ Āyah 26

فَقَالَso said ٱلْمَلَأُthe chiefs ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved مِنfrom قَوْمِهِۦhis people مَاnot نَرَىٰكَwe see you إِلَّاbut بَشَرًاa man مِّثْلَنَاlike us وَمَاand not نَرَىٰكَwe see you ٱتَّبَعَكَfollowed [you] إِلَّاexcept ٱلَّذِينَthose who هُمْ[they] أَرَاذِلُنَا(are) the lowest of us بَادِىَimmature in opinion ٱلرَّأْىِimmature in opinion وَمَاand not نَرَىٰwe see لَكُمْin you عَلَيْنَاover us مِنany فَضْلٍۭmerit; بَلْnay نَظُنُّكُمْwe think you كَٰذِبِينَ(are) liars۝٢٧ Āyah 27

قَالَhe said يَٰقَوْمِo my people أَرَءَيْتُمْdo you see إِنif كُنتُi was عَلَىٰon بَيِّنَةٍ(the) clear proof مِّنfrom رَّبِّىmy lord وَءَاتَىٰنِىwhile he has given me رَحْمَةًmercy مِّنْfrom عِندِهِۦhimself فَعُمِّيَتْbut (it) has been obscured عَلَيْكُمْfrom you أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَاshould we compel you (to accept) it وَأَنتُمْwhile you (are) لَهَاaverse to it كَٰرِهُونَaverse to it۝٢٨ Āyah 28

وَيَٰقَوْمِand o my people لَآnot أَسْـَٔلُكُمْi ask (of) you عَلَيْهِfor it مَالًاany wealth إِنْnot أَجْرِىَ(is) my reward إِلَّاexcept عَلَىfrom ٱللَّهِallah وَمَآand not أَنَا۠i am بِطَارِدِgoing to drive away ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوٓا۟believed إِنَّهُمindeed they مُّلَٰقُوا۟(will) be meeting رَبِّهِمْtheir lord وَلَٰكِنِّىٓbut i أَرَىٰكُمْsee you قَوْمًا(are) a people تَجْهَلُونَignorant۝٢٩ Āyah 29

وَيَٰقَوْمِand o my people مَنwho يَنصُرُنِىwould help me مِنَagainst ٱللَّهِallah إِنif طَرَدتُّهُمْi drove them أَفَلَاthen will not تَذَكَّرُونَyou take heed۝٣٠ Āyah 30

وَلَآand not أَقُولُi say لَكُمْto you عِندِى(that) with me خَزَآئِنُ(are the) treasures ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَلَآand not أَعْلَمُi know ٱلْغَيْبَthe unseen وَلَآand not أَقُولُi say إِنِّىthat i am مَلَكٌan angel وَلَآand not أَقُولُi say لِلَّذِينَfor those whom تَزْدَرِىٓlook down upon أَعْيُنُكُمْyour eyes لَنnever يُؤْتِيَهُمُwill allah give them ٱللَّهُwill allah give them خَيْرًاany good ٱللَّهُallah أَعْلَمُknows best بِمَاwhat فِىٓ(is) in أَنفُسِهِمْtheir souls إِنِّىٓindeed i إِذًاthen لَّمِنَ(will be) surely of ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers۝٣١ Āyah 31

قَالُوا۟they said يَٰنُوحُo nuh قَدْindeed جَٰدَلْتَنَاyou disputed with us فَأَكْثَرْتَand you (have been) frequent جِدَٰلَنَا(in) dispute with us فَأْتِنَاso bring us بِمَاwhat تَعِدُنَآyou threaten us (with) إِنif كُنتَyou are مِنَof ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَthe truthful۝٣٢ Āyah 32

قَالَhe said إِنَّمَاonly يَأْتِيكُمwill bring it (on) you بِهِwill bring it (on) you ٱللَّهُallah إِنif شَآءَhe wills وَمَآand not أَنتُمyou (are) بِمُعْجِزِينَone who (can) escape (it)۝٣٣ Āyah 33

وَلَاand (will) not يَنفَعُكُمْbenefit you نُصْحِىٓmy advice إِنْ(even) if أَرَدتُّi wish أَنْto أَنصَحَ[i] advise لَكُمْ[to] you إِنif كَانَit was allahs ٱللَّهُit was allahs يُرِيدُwill أَنto يُغْوِيَكُمْlet you go astray هُوَhe (is) رَبُّكُمْyour lord وَإِلَيْهِand to him تُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned۝٣٤ Āyah 34

أَمْor يَقُولُونَ(do) they say ٱفْتَرَىٰهُhe has invented it قُلْsay إِنِif ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥi have invented it فَعَلَىَّthen on me إِجْرَامِى(is) my crime وَأَنَا۠but i am بَرِىٓءٌinnocent مِّمَّاof what تُجْرِمُونَcrimes you commit۝٣٥ Āyah 35
