يس

وَنُفِخَand will be blown فِى[in] ٱلصُّورِthe trumpet فَإِذَاand behold هُمthey مِّنَfrom ٱلْأَجْدَاثِthe graves إِلَىٰto رَبِّهِمْtheir lord يَنسِلُونَ[they] will hasten۝٥١ Āyah 51

قَالُوا۟they [will] say يَٰوَيْلَنَاo woe to us مَنۢwho بَعَثَنَاhas raised us مِنfrom مَّرْقَدِنَاour sleeping place هَٰذَاthis (is) مَاwhat وَعَدَ(had) promised ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe most gracious وَصَدَقَand told (the) truth ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَthe messengers۝٥٢ Āyah 52

إِنnot كَانَتْit will be إِلَّاbut صَيْحَةًa shout وَٰحِدَةًsingle فَإِذَاso behold هُمْthey جَمِيعٌall لَّدَيْنَاbefore us مُحْضَرُونَ(will be) brought۝٥٣ Āyah 53

فَٱلْيَوْمَso this day لَاnot تُظْلَمُwill be wronged نَفْسٌa soul شَيْـًٔا(in) anything وَلَاand not تُجْزَوْنَyou will be recompensed إِلَّاexcept مَا(for) what كُنتُمْyou used (to) تَعْمَلُونَdo۝٥٤ Āyah 54

إِنَّindeed أَصْحَٰبَ(the) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) paradise ٱلْيَوْمَthis day فِى[in] شُغُلٍwill be occupied فَٰكِهُونَ(in) amusement۝٥٥ Āyah 55

هُمْthey وَأَزْوَٰجُهُمْand their spouses فِىin ظِلَٰلٍshades عَلَىon ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ[the] couches مُتَّكِـُٔونَreclining۝٥٦ Āyah 56

لَهُمْfor them فِيهَاtherein فَٰكِهَةٌ(are) fruits وَلَهُمand for them مَّا(is) whatever يَدَّعُونَthey call for۝٥٧ Āyah 57

سَلَٰمٌpeace قَوْلًاa word مِّنfrom رَّبٍّa lord رَّحِيمٍmost merciful۝٥٨ Āyah 58

وَٱمْتَٰزُوا۟but stand apart ٱلْيَوْمَtoday أَيُّهَاo criminals ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَo criminals۝٥٩ Āyah 59

أَلَمْdid not أَعْهَدْi enjoin إِلَيْكُمْupon you يَٰبَنِىٓo children of adam ءَادَمَo children of adam أَنthat لَّا(do) not تَعْبُدُوا۟worship ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَthe shaitaan إِنَّهُۥindeed he لَكُمْ(is) for you عَدُوٌّan enemy مُّبِينٌclear۝٦٠ Āyah 60

وَأَنِand that ٱعْبُدُونِىyou worship me هَٰذَاthis صِرَٰطٌ(is) a path مُّسْتَقِيمٌstraight۝٦١ Āyah 61

وَلَقَدْand indeed أَضَلَّhe led astray مِنكُمْfrom you جِبِلًّاa multitude كَثِيرًاgreat أَفَلَمْthen did not تَكُونُوا۟you تَعْقِلُونَuse reason۝٦٢ Āyah 62

هَٰذِهِۦthis (is) جَهَنَّمُ(the) hell ٱلَّتِىwhich كُنتُمْyou were تُوعَدُونَpromised۝٦٣ Āyah 63

ٱصْلَوْهَاburn therein ٱلْيَوْمَtoday بِمَاbecause كُنتُمْyou used to تَكْفُرُونَdisbelieve۝٦٤ Āyah 64

ٱلْيَوْمَthis day نَخْتِمُwe will seal عَلَىٰٓ[on] أَفْوَٰهِهِمْtheir mouths وَتُكَلِّمُنَآand will speak to us أَيْدِيهِمْtheir hands وَتَشْهَدُand will bear witness أَرْجُلُهُمtheir feet بِمَاabout what كَانُوا۟they used to يَكْسِبُونَearn۝٦٥ Āyah 65

وَلَوْand if نَشَآءُwe willed لَطَمَسْنَاwe (would have) surely obliterated عَلَىٰٓ[over] أَعْيُنِهِمْtheir eyes فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟then they (would) race ٱلصِّرَٰطَ(to find) the path فَأَنَّىٰthen how يُبْصِرُونَ(could) they see۝٦٦ Āyah 66

وَلَوْand if نَشَآءُwe willed لَمَسَخْنَٰهُمْsurely we (would have) transformed them عَلَىٰin مَكَانَتِهِمْtheir places فَمَاthen not ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟they would have been able مُضِيًّاto proceed وَلَاand not يَرْجِعُونَreturn۝٦٧ Āyah 67
