النساء

يُوصِيكُمُallah instructs you ٱللَّهُallah instructs you فِىٓconcerning أَوْلَٰدِكُمْyour children لِلذَّكَرِfor the male مِثْلُlike حَظِّ(the) portion ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ(of) two females فَإِنbut if كُنَّthere are نِسَآءً(only) women فَوْقَmore (than) ٱثْنَتَيْنِtwo فَلَهُنَّthen for them ثُلُثَاtwo thirds مَا(of) what تَرَكَhe left وَإِنand if كَانَتْ(there) is وَٰحِدَةً(only) one فَلَهَاthen for her ٱلنِّصْفُ(is) half وَلِأَبَوَيْهِand for his parents لِكُلِّfor each وَٰحِدٍone مِّنْهُمَاof them ٱلسُّدُسُa sixth مِمَّاof what تَرَكَ(is) left إِنif كَانَfor him is لَهُۥfor him is وَلَدٌa child فَإِنbut if لَّمْnot يَكُنfor him is لَّهُۥfor him is وَلَدٌany child وَوَرِثَهُۥٓand inherit[ed] him أَبَوَاهُhis parents فَلِأُمِّهِthen for his mother ٱلثُّلُثُ(is) one third فَإِنand if كَانَfor him are لَهُۥٓfor him are إِخْوَةٌbrothers and sisters فَلِأُمِّهِthen for his mother ٱلسُّدُسُ(is) the sixth مِنۢafter بَعْدِafter وَصِيَّةٍany will يُوصِىhe has made بِهَآ[of which] أَوْor دَيْنٍany debt ءَابَآؤُكُمْyour parents وَأَبْنَآؤُكُمْand your children لَاnot تَدْرُونَyou know أَيُّهُمْwhich of them أَقْرَبُ(is) nearer لَكُمْto you نَفْعًا(in) benefit فَرِيضَةًan obligation مِّنَfrom ٱللَّهِallah إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah كَانَis عَلِيمًاall knowing حَكِيمًاall wise۝١١ Āyah 11

وَلَكُمْand for you نِصْفُ(is) half مَا(of) what تَرَكَ(is) left أَزْوَٰجُكُمْby your wives إِنif لَّمْnot يَكُنfor them is لَّهُنَّfor them is وَلَدٌa child فَإِنbut if كَانَfor them is لَهُنَّfor them is وَلَدٌa child فَلَكُمُthen for you ٱلرُّبُعُ(is) the fourth مِمَّاof what تَرَكْنَthey left مِنۢafter بَعْدِafter وَصِيَّةٍany will يُوصِينَthey have made بِهَآ[for which] أَوْor دَيْنٍany debt وَلَهُنَّand for them ٱلرُّبُعُ(is) the fourth مِمَّاof what تَرَكْتُمْyou left إِنif لَّمْnot يَكُنfor you is لَّكُمْfor you is وَلَدٌa child فَإِنbut if كَانَfor you is لَكُمْfor you is وَلَدٌa child فَلَهُنَّthen for them ٱلثُّمُنُ(is) the eighth مِمَّاof what تَرَكْتُمyou left مِّنۢafter بَعْدِafter وَصِيَّةٍany will تُوصُونَyou have made بِهَآ[for which] أَوْor دَيْنٍany debt وَإِنand if كَانَ[is] رَجُلٌa man يُورَثُ(whose wealth) is to be inherited كَلَٰلَةً(has) no parent or child أَوِor ٱمْرَأَةٌa women وَلَهُۥٓand for him أَخٌ(is) a brother أَوْor أُخْتٌa sister فَلِكُلِّthen for each وَٰحِدٍone مِّنْهُمَاof (the) two ٱلسُّدُسُ(is) the sixth فَإِنbut if كَانُوٓا۟they are أَكْثَرَmore مِنthan ذَٰلِكَthat فَهُمْthen they شُرَكَآءُ(are) partners فِىin ٱلثُّلُثِthe third مِنۢafter بَعْدِafter وَصِيَّةٍany will يُوصَىٰwas made بِهَآ[for which] أَوْor دَيْنٍany debt غَيْرَwithout مُضَآرٍّ(being) harmful وَصِيَّةًan ordinance مِّنَfrom ٱللَّهِallah وَٱللَّهُand allah عَلِيمٌ(is) all knowing حَلِيمٌall forbearing۝١٢ Āyah 12

تِلْكَthese حُدُودُ(are the) limits ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَمَنand whoever يُطِعِobeys ٱللَّهَallah وَرَسُولَهُۥand his messenger يُدْخِلْهُhe will admit him جَنَّٰتٍ(to) gardens تَجْرِىflows مِنfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُthe rivers خَٰلِدِينَ(will) abide forever فِيهَاin it وَذَٰلِكَand that ٱلْفَوْزُ(is) the success ٱلْعَظِيمُ[the] great۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَمَنand whoever يَعْصِdisobeys ٱللَّهَallah وَرَسُولَهُۥand his messenger وَيَتَعَدَّand transgresses حُدُودَهُۥhis limits يُدْخِلْهُhe will admit him نَارًا(to) fire خَٰلِدًا(will) abide forever فِيهَاin it وَلَهُۥand for him عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment مُّهِينٌhumiliating۝١٤ Āyah 14
