الشورى

وَمَآand whatever أَصَٰبَكُمbefalls you مِّنof مُّصِيبَةٍ(the) misfortune فَبِمَا(is because) of what كَسَبَتْhave earned أَيْدِيكُمْyour hands وَيَعْفُوا۟but he pardons عَن[from] كَثِيرٍmuch۝٣٠ Āyah 30

وَمَآand not أَنتُمyou بِمُعْجِزِينَ(can) escape فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَمَاand not لَكُمfor you مِّنbesides دُونِbesides ٱللَّهِallah مِنany وَلِىٍّprotector وَلَاand not نَصِيرٍany helper۝٣١ Āyah 31

وَمِنْand among ءَايَٰتِهِhis signs ٱلْجَوَارِ(are) the ships فِىin ٱلْبَحْرِthe sea كَٱلْأَعْلَٰمِlike [the] mountains۝٣٢ Āyah 32

إِنif يَشَأْhe wills يُسْكِنِhe can cause the wind to become still ٱلرِّيحَhe can cause the wind to become still فَيَظْلَلْنَthen they would remain رَوَاكِدَmotionless عَلَىٰon ظَهْرِهِۦٓits back إِنَّindeed فِىin ذَٰلِكَthat لَـَٔايَٰتٍsurely (are) signs لِّكُلِّfor everyone صَبَّارٍpatient شَكُورٍ(and) grateful۝٣٣ Āyah 33

أَوْor يُوبِقْهُنَّhe could destroy them بِمَاfor what كَسَبُوا۟they have earned; وَيَعْفُbut he pardons عَن[from] كَثِيرٍmuch۝٣٤ Āyah 34

وَيَعْلَمَand may know ٱلَّذِينَthose who يُجَٰدِلُونَdispute فِىٓconcerning ءَايَٰتِنَاour signs مَا(that) not لَهُمfor them مِّنany مَّحِيصٍplace of refuge۝٣٥ Āyah 35

فَمَآso whatever أُوتِيتُمyou are given مِّنof شَىْءٍa thing فَمَتَٰعُ(is) but a passing enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ(for) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world وَمَاbut what عِندَ(is) with ٱللَّهِallah خَيْرٌ(is) better وَأَبْقَىٰand more lasting لِلَّذِينَfor those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe وَعَلَىٰand upon رَبِّهِمْtheir lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَput (their) trust۝٣٦ Āyah 36

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who يَجْتَنِبُونَavoid كَبَٰٓئِرَ(the) greater ٱلْإِثْمِsins وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَand the immoralities وَإِذَاand when مَاand when غَضِبُوا۟they are angry هُمْthey يَغْفِرُونَforgive۝٣٧ Āyah 37

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟respond لِرَبِّهِمْto their lord وَأَقَامُوا۟and establish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَprayer وَأَمْرُهُمْand their affairs شُورَىٰ(are conducted by) consultation بَيْنَهُمْamong them وَمِمَّاand from what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْwe have provided them يُنفِقُونَthey spend۝٣٨ Āyah 38

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who إِذَآwhen أَصَابَهُمُstrikes them ٱلْبَغْىُtyranny هُمْthey يَنتَصِرُونَdefend themselves۝٣٩ Āyah 39

وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟(the) recompense سَيِّئَةٍ(of) an evil سَيِّئَةٌ(is) an evil مِّثْلُهَاlike it فَمَنْbut whoever عَفَاpardons وَأَصْلَحَand makes reconciliation فَأَجْرُهُۥthen his reward عَلَى(is) on ٱللَّهِallah إِنَّهُۥindeed he لَا(does) not يُحِبُّlike ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers۝٤٠ Āyah 40

وَلَمَنِand surely whosoever ٱنتَصَرَdefends himself بَعْدَafter ظُلْمِهِۦhe has been wronged فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthen those مَاnot عَلَيْهِم(is) against them مِّنany سَبِيلٍway۝٤١ Āyah 41

إِنَّمَاonly ٱلسَّبِيلُthe way عَلَىagainst ٱلَّذِينَthose who يَظْلِمُونَoppress ٱلنَّاسَthe people وَيَبْغُونَand rebel فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth بِغَيْرِwithout ٱلْحَقِّright أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment أَلِيمٌpainful۝٤٢ Āyah 42

وَلَمَنand whoever صَبَرَ(is) patient وَغَفَرَand forgives إِنَّindeed ذَٰلِكَthat لَمِنْ(is) surely of عَزْمِmatters of determination ٱلْأُمُورِmatters of determination۝٤٣ Āyah 43
