الأنعام

قَدْindeed خَسِرَincurred loss ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَذَّبُوا۟denied بِلِقَآءِin (the) meeting ٱللَّهِ(with) allah حَتَّىٰٓuntil إِذَاwhen جَآءَتْهُمُcame to them ٱلسَّاعَةُthe hour بَغْتَةًsuddenly قَالُوا۟they said يَٰحَسْرَتَنَاoh our regret عَلَىٰover مَاwhat فَرَّطْنَاwe neglected فِيهَاconcerning it وَهُمْwhile they يَحْمِلُونَwill bear أَوْزَارَهُمْtheir burdens عَلَىٰon ظُهُورِهِمْtheir backs أَلَاunquestionably سَآءَevil مَا(is) what يَزِرُونَthey bear۝٣١ Āyah 31

وَمَاand not ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ(is) the life ٱلدُّنْيَآ(of) the world إِلَّاexcept لَعِبٌa play وَلَهْوٌand amusement; وَلَلدَّارُbut the home ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ(of) the hereafter خَيْرٌ(is) best لِّلَّذِينَfor those who يَتَّقُونَ(are) god conscious أَفَلَاthen will you not reason تَعْقِلُونَthen will you not reason۝٣٢ Āyah 32

قَدْindeed نَعْلَمُwe know إِنَّهُۥthat it لَيَحْزُنُكَgrieves you ٱلَّذِىwhat يَقُولُونَthey say فَإِنَّهُمْand indeed they لَا(do) not يُكَذِّبُونَكَdeny you وَلَٰكِنَّbut ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers بِـَٔايَٰتِthe verses of allah ٱللَّهِthe verses of allah يَجْحَدُونَthey reject۝٣٣ Āyah 33

وَلَقَدْand surely كُذِّبَتْwere rejected رُسُلٌmessengers مِّنbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you فَصَبَرُوا۟but they were patient عَلَىٰover مَاwhat كُذِّبُوا۟they were rejected وَأُوذُوا۟and they were harmed حَتَّىٰٓuntil أَتَىٰهُمْcame to them نَصْرُنَاour help وَلَاand no مُبَدِّلَone (can) alter لِكَلِمَٰتِ(the) words ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَلَقَدْand surely جَآءَكَhas come to you مِنof (the) news نَّبَإِى۟of (the) news ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ(of) the messengers۝٣٤ Āyah 34

وَإِنand if كَانَis كَبُرَdifficult عَلَيْكَfor you إِعْرَاضُهُمْtheir aversion فَإِنِthen if ٱسْتَطَعْتَyou are able أَنto تَبْتَغِىَseek نَفَقًاa tunnel فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth أَوْor سُلَّمًاa ladder فِىinto ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky فَتَأْتِيَهُمso that you bring to them بِـَٔايَةٍa sign وَلَوْbut if شَآءَallah (had) willed ٱللَّهُallah (had) willed لَجَمَعَهُمْsurely he (would) have gathered them عَلَىon ٱلْهُدَىٰthe guidance فَلَاso (do) not تَكُونَنَّbe مِنَof ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَthe ignorant۝٣٥ Āyah 35

إِنَّمَاonly يَسْتَجِيبُrespond ٱلَّذِينَthose who يَسْمَعُونَlisten وَٱلْمَوْتَىٰbut the dead يَبْعَثُهُمُallah will resurrect them ٱللَّهُallah will resurrect them ثُمَّthen إِلَيْهِto him يُرْجَعُونَthey will be returned۝٣٦ Āyah 36

وَقَالُوا۟and they said لَوْلَاwhy (is) not نُزِّلَsent down عَلَيْهِto him ءَايَةٌa sign مِّنfrom رَّبِّهِۦhis lord قُلْsay إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah قَادِرٌ(is) able عَلَىٰٓ[on] أَنto يُنَزِّلَsend down ءَايَةًa sign وَلَٰكِنَّbut أَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not يَعْلَمُونَknow۝٣٧ Āyah 37

وَمَاand not مِن[of] دَآبَّةٍany animal فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَلَاand not طَٰٓئِرٍa bird يَطِيرُ(that) flies بِجَنَاحَيْهِwith its wings إِلَّآbut أُمَمٌ(are) communities أَمْثَالُكُمlike you مَّاwe have not neglected فَرَّطْنَاwe have not neglected فِىin ٱلْكِتَٰبِthe book مِن[of] شَىْءٍanything ثُمَّthen إِلَىٰto رَبِّهِمْtheir lord يُحْشَرُونَthey will be gathered۝٣٨ Āyah 38

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who كَذَّبُوا۟rejected بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاour verses صُمٌّ(are) deaf وَبُكْمٌand dumb فِىin ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِthe darkness[es] مَنwhoever يَشَإِallah wills ٱللَّهُallah wills يُضْلِلْهُhe وَمَنand whoever يَشَأْhe wills يَجْعَلْهُhe places him عَلَىٰon صِرَٰطٍ(the) straight way مُّسْتَقِيمٍ(the) straight way۝٣٩ Āyah 39

قُلْsay أَرَءَيْتَكُمْhave you seen إِنْif أَتَىٰكُمْ(there) came to you عَذَابُpunishment ٱللَّهِ(of) allah أَوْor أَتَتْكُمُ(there) came to you ٱلسَّاعَةُthe hour أَغَيْرَis it other than allah ٱللَّهِis it other than allah تَدْعُونَyou call إِنif كُنتُمْyou are صَٰدِقِينَtruthful۝٤٠ Āyah 40

بَلْnay إِيَّاهُhim alone تَدْعُونَyou call فَيَكْشِفُand he would remove مَاwhat تَدْعُونَyou call إِلَيْهِupon him إِنif شَآءَhe wills وَتَنسَوْنَand you will forget مَاwhat تُشْرِكُونَyou associate (with him)۝٤١ Āyah 41
