الأعراف

يَٰبَنِىٓo children ءَادَمَ(of) adam قَدْverily أَنزَلْنَاwe have sent down عَلَيْكُمْto you لِبَاسًاclothing يُوَٰرِىit covers سَوْءَٰتِكُمْyour shame وَرِيشًاand (as) an adornment وَلِبَاسُbut the clothing ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ(of) [the] righteousness ذَٰلِكَthat خَيْرٌ(is) best ذَٰلِكَthat مِنْ(is) from ءَايَٰتِ(the) signs of allah ٱللَّهِ(the) signs of allah لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may يَذَّكَّرُونَremember۝٢٦ Āyah 26

يَٰبَنِىٓo children ءَادَمَ(of) adam لَا(let) not يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُtempt you ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ[the] shaitaan كَمَآas أَخْرَجَhe drove out أَبَوَيْكُمyour parents مِّنَfrom ٱلْجَنَّةِparadise يَنزِعُstripping عَنْهُمَاfrom both of them لِبَاسَهُمَاtheir clothing لِيُرِيَهُمَاto show both of them سَوْءَٰتِهِمَآtheir shame إِنَّهُۥindeed he يَرَىٰكُمْsees you هُوَhe وَقَبِيلُهُۥand his tribe مِنْfrom حَيْثُwhere لَاnot تَرَوْنَهُمْyou see them إِنَّاindeed جَعَلْنَاwe have made ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَthe devils أَوْلِيَآءَfriends لِلَّذِينَof those who لَا(do) not يُؤْمِنُونَbelieve۝٢٧ Āyah 27

وَإِذَاand when فَعَلُوا۟they do فَٰحِشَةًimmorality قَالُوا۟they say وَجَدْنَاwe found عَلَيْهَآon it ءَابَآءَنَاour forefathers وَٱللَّهُand allah أَمَرَنَا(has) ordered us بِهَاof it قُلْsay إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah لَا(does) not يَأْمُرُorder بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِimmorality أَتَقُولُونَdo you say عَلَىabout ٱللَّهِallah مَاwhat لَاyou (do) not know تَعْلَمُونَyou (do) not know۝٢٨ Āyah 28

قُلْsay أَمَرَmy lord has ordered رَبِّىmy lord has ordered بِٱلْقِسْطِjustice وَأَقِيمُوا۟and set وُجُوهَكُمْyour faces عِندَat كُلِّevery مَسْجِدٍmasjid وَٱدْعُوهُand invoke him مُخْلِصِينَ(being) sincere لَهُto him ٱلدِّينَ(in) the religion كَمَاas بَدَأَكُمْhe originated you تَعُودُونَ(so) will you return۝٢٩ Āyah 29

فَرِيقًاa group هَدَىٰhe guided وَفَرِيقًاand a group حَقَّdeserved عَلَيْهِمُ[on] they ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُthe astraying إِنَّهُمُindeed they ٱتَّخَذُوا۟take ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَthe devils أَوْلِيَآءَ(as) allies مِنbesides دُونِbesides ٱللَّهِallah وَيَحْسَبُونَwhile they think أَنَّهُمthat they مُّهْتَدُونَ(are the) guided ones۝٣٠ Āyah 30

يَٰبَنِىٓo children ءَادَمَ(of) adam خُذُوا۟take زِينَتَكُمْyour adornment عِندَat كُلِّevery مَسْجِدٍmasjid وَكُلُوا۟and eat وَٱشْرَبُوا۟and drink وَلَاbut (do) not تُسْرِفُوٓا۟be extravagant إِنَّهُۥindeed he لَا(does) not يُحِبُّlove ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَthe extravagant ones۝٣١ Āyah 31
