الأعراف

قُلْsay مَنْwho حَرَّمَhas forbidden زِينَةَ(the) adornment ٱللَّهِ(from) allah ٱلَّتِىٓwhich أَخْرَجَhe has brought forth لِعِبَادِهِۦfor his slaves وَٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِand the pure things مِنَof ٱلرِّزْقِsustenance قُلْsay هِىَthey لِلَّذِينَ(are) for those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe فِىduring ٱلْحَيَوٰةِthe life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world خَالِصَةًexclusively (for them) يَوْمَ(on the) day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ(of) resurrection كَذَٰلِكَthus نُفَصِّلُwe explain ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِthe signs لِقَوْمٍfor (the) people يَعْلَمُونَwho know۝٣٢ Āyah 32

قُلْsay إِنَّمَاonly حَرَّمَ(had) forbidden رَبِّىَmy lord ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَthe shameful deeds مَاwhat ظَهَرَ(is) apparent مِنْهَاof it وَمَاand what بَطَنَis concealed وَٱلْإِثْمَand the sin وَٱلْبَغْىَand the oppression بِغَيْرِwithout ٱلْحَقِّ[the] right وَأَنand that تُشْرِكُوا۟you associate (others) بِٱللَّهِwith allah مَاwhat لَمْnot يُنَزِّلْhe (has) sent down بِهِۦof it سُلْطَٰنًاany authority وَأَنand that تَقُولُوا۟you say عَلَىabout ٱللَّهِallah مَاwhat لَاyou (do) not know تَعْلَمُونَyou (do) not know۝٣٣ Āyah 33

وَلِكُلِّand for every أُمَّةٍnation أَجَلٌ(is a fixed) term فَإِذَاso when جَآءَcomes أَجَلُهُمْtheir term لَا(they can) not يَسْتَأْخِرُونَseek to delay سَاعَةًan hour وَلَاand not يَسْتَقْدِمُونَseek to advance (it)۝٣٤ Āyah 34

يَٰبَنِىٓo children ءَادَمَ(of) adam إِمَّاif يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْcome to you رُسُلٌmessengers مِّنكُمْfrom you يَقُصُّونَrelating عَلَيْكُمْto you ءَايَٰتِىmy verses فَمَنِthen whoever ٱتَّقَىٰfears allah وَأَصْلَحَand reforms فَلَاthen no خَوْفٌfear عَلَيْهِمْon them وَلَاand not هُمْthey يَحْزَنُونَwill grieve۝٣٥ Āyah 35

وَٱلَّذِينَbut those who كَذَّبُوا۟deny بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاour verses وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟and (are) arrogant عَنْهَآtowards them أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose أَصْحَٰبُ(are the) companions ٱلنَّارِ(of) the fire هُمْthey فِيهَاin it خَٰلِدُونَwill abide forever۝٣٦ Āyah 36

فَمَنْthen who أَظْلَمُ(is) more unjust مِمَّنِthan (one) who ٱفْتَرَىٰinvented عَلَىagainst ٱللَّهِallah كَذِبًاa lie أَوْor كَذَّبَdenies بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓhis verses أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose يَنَالُهُمْwill reach them نَصِيبُهُمtheir portion مِّنَfrom ٱلْكِتَٰبِthe book حَتَّىٰٓuntil إِذَاwhen جَآءَتْهُمْcomes to them رُسُلُنَاour messengers (angels) يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ(to) take them in death قَالُوٓا۟they say أَيْنَwhere are مَاthose (whom) كُنتُمْyou used to تَدْعُونَinvoke مِنbesides دُونِbesides ٱللَّهِallah قَالُوا۟they say ضَلُّوا۟they strayed عَنَّاfrom وَشَهِدُوا۟and they (will) testify عَلَىٰٓagainst أَنفُسِهِمْthemselves أَنَّهُمْthat they كَانُوا۟were كَٰفِرِينَdisbelievers۝٣٧ Āyah 37

قَالَhe (will) say ٱدْخُلُوا۟enter فِىٓamong أُمَمٍ(the) nations قَدْ(who) passed away خَلَتْ(who) passed away مِنbefore you قَبْلِكُمbefore you مِّنَof ٱلْجِنِّthe jinn وَٱلْإِنسِand the men فِىin ٱلنَّارِthe fire كُلَّمَاevery time دَخَلَتْentered أُمَّةٌa nation لَّعَنَتْit cursed أُخْتَهَاits sister (nation) حَتَّىٰٓuntil إِذَاwhen ٱدَّارَكُوا۟they had overtaken one another فِيهَاin it جَمِيعًاall قَالَتْ(will) say أُخْرَىٰهُمْ(the) last of them لِأُولَىٰهُمْabout the first of them رَبَّنَاour lord هَٰٓؤُلَآءِthese أَضَلُّونَاmisled us فَـَٔاتِهِمْso give them عَذَابًاdouble punishment ضِعْفًاdouble punishment مِّنَof ٱلنَّارِthe fire قَالَhe (will) say لِكُلٍّfor each ضِعْفٌ(is) a double وَلَٰكِن[and] but لَّاnot تَعْلَمُونَyou know۝٣٨ Āyah 38

وَقَالَتْand (will) say أُولَىٰهُمْ(the) first of them لِأُخْرَىٰهُمْto (the) last of them فَمَاthen not كَانَis لَكُمْfor you عَلَيْنَاupon us مِنany فَضْلٍsuperiority فَذُوقُوا۟so taste ٱلْعَذَابَthe punishment بِمَاfor what كُنتُمْyou used to تَكْسِبُونَearn۝٣٩ Āyah 39
