الأنفال

يَٰٓأَيُّهَاo you who believe ٱلَّذِينَo you who believe ءَامَنُوٓا۟o you who believe إِنif تَتَّقُوا۟you fear ٱللَّهَallah يَجْعَلhe will grant لَّكُمْyou فُرْقَانًاa criterion وَيُكَفِّرْand will remove عَنكُمْfrom you سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْyour evil deeds وَيَغْفِرْand forgive لَكُمْyou وَٱللَّهُand allah ذُو(is) the possessor of bounty ٱلْفَضْلِ(is) the possessor of bounty ٱلْعَظِيمِthe great۝٢٩ Āyah 29

وَإِذْand when يَمْكُرُplotted بِكَagainst you ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved لِيُثْبِتُوكَthat they restrain you أَوْor يَقْتُلُوكَkill you أَوْor يُخْرِجُوكَdrive you out وَيَمْكُرُونَand they were planning وَيَمْكُرُand allah (too) was planning ٱللَّهُand allah (too) was planning وَٱللَّهُand allah خَيْرُis (the) best ٱلْمَٰكِرِينَ(of) the planners۝٣٠ Āyah 30

وَإِذَاand when تُتْلَىٰare recited عَلَيْهِمْto them ءَايَٰتُنَاour verses قَالُوا۟they say قَدْverily سَمِعْنَاwe have heard لَوْif نَشَآءُwe wish لَقُلْنَاsurely we could say مِثْلَlike هَٰذَآthis إِنْthis is not هَٰذَآthis is not إِلَّآbut أَسَٰطِيرُtales ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former (people)۝٣١ Āyah 31

وَإِذْand when قَالُوا۟they said ٱللَّهُمَّo allah إِنif كَانَthis is [t] هَٰذَاthis is [t] هُوَthis is [t] ٱلْحَقَّthe truth مِنْfrom you عِندِكَfrom you فَأَمْطِرْthen (send) rain عَلَيْنَاupon us حِجَارَةً(of) stones مِّنَfrom ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky أَوِor ٱئْتِنَاbring (upon) us بِعَذَابٍa punishment أَلِيمٍpainful۝٣٢ Āyah 32

وَمَاbut not كَانَis ٱللَّهُ(for) allah لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْthat he punishes them وَأَنتَwhile you فِيهِمْ(are) among them وَمَاand not كَانَis ٱللَّهُallah مُعَذِّبَهُمْthe one who punishes them وَهُمْwhile they يَسْتَغْفِرُونَseek forgiveness۝٣٣ Āyah 33

وَمَاbut what لَهُمْ(is) for them أَلَّاthat not يُعَذِّبَهُمُ(should) allah punish them ٱللَّهُ(should) allah punish them وَهُمْwhile they يَصُدُّونَhinder (people) عَنِfrom ٱلْمَسْجِدِal masjid al haraam ٱلْحَرَامِal masjid al haraam وَمَاwhile not كَانُوٓا۟they are أَوْلِيَآءَهُۥٓits guardians إِنْnot (can be) أَوْلِيَآؤُهُۥٓits guardians إِلَّاexcept ٱلْمُتَّقُونَthe ones who fear allah وَلَٰكِنَّbut أَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not يَعْلَمُونَknow۝٣٤ Āyah 34

وَمَاand not كَانَwas صَلَاتُهُمْtheir prayer عِندَat ٱلْبَيْتِthe house إِلَّاexcept مُكَآءًwhistling وَتَصْدِيَةًand clapping فَذُوقُوا۟so taste ٱلْعَذَابَthe punishment بِمَاbecause كُنتُمْyou used to تَكْفُرُونَdisbelieve۝٣٥ Āyah 35

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve يُنفِقُونَthey spend أَمْوَٰلَهُمْtheir wealth لِيَصُدُّوا۟to hinder (people) عَنfrom سَبِيلِ(the) way ٱللَّهِ(of) allah فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَاso they will spend it ثُمَّthen تَكُونُit will be عَلَيْهِمْfor them حَسْرَةًa regret ثُمَّthen يُغْلَبُونَthey will be overcome وَٱلَّذِينَand those who كَفَرُوٓا۟disbelieve إِلَىٰto جَهَنَّمَhell يُحْشَرُونَthey will be gathered۝٣٦ Āyah 36

لِيَمِيزَthat allah may distinguish ٱللَّهُthat allah may distinguish ٱلْخَبِيثَthe wicked مِنَfrom ٱلطَّيِّبِthe good وَيَجْعَلَand place ٱلْخَبِيثَthe wicked بَعْضَهُۥsome of them عَلَىٰon بَعْضٍothers فَيَرْكُمَهُۥand heap them جَمِيعًاall together فَيَجْعَلَهُۥand put them فِىin جَهَنَّمَhell أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose هُمُthey ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ(are) the losers۝٣٧ Āyah 37
