التوبة

وَقَالَتِand said ٱلْيَهُودُthe jews عُزَيْرٌuzair ٱبْنُ(is) son ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَقَالَتِand said ٱلنَّصَٰرَىthe christians ٱلْمَسِيحُmessiah ٱبْنُ(is) son ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ذَٰلِكَthat قَوْلُهُم(is) their saying بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْwith their mouths يُضَٰهِـُٔونَthey imitate قَوْلَthe saying ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved مِنbefore قَبْلُbefore قَٰتَلَهُمُ(may) allah destroy them ٱللَّهُ(may) allah destroy them أَنَّىٰhow يُؤْفَكُونَdeluded are they۝٣٠ Āyah 30

ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟they have taken أَحْبَارَهُمْtheir rabbis وَرُهْبَٰنَهُمْand their monks أَرْبَابًا(as) lords مِّنbesides دُونِbesides ٱللَّهِallah وَٱلْمَسِيحَand the messiah ٱبْنَson مَرْيَمَ(of) maryam وَمَآand not أُمِرُوٓا۟they were commanded إِلَّاexcept لِيَعْبُدُوٓا۟that they worship إِلَٰهًاone god وَٰحِدًاone god لَّآ(there) is no إِلَٰهَgod إِلَّاexcept هُوَhim سُبْحَٰنَهُۥglory be to him عَمَّاfrom what يُشْرِكُونَthey associate (with him)۝٣١ Āyah 31

يُرِيدُونَthey want أَنto يُطْفِـُٔوا۟extinguish نُورَallahs light ٱللَّهِallahs light بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْwith their mouths وَيَأْبَىbut allah refuses ٱللَّهُbut allah refuses إِلَّآexcept أَنto يُتِمَّperfect نُورَهُۥhis light وَلَوْeven if كَرِهَthe disbelievers dislike (it) ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَthe disbelievers dislike (it)۝٣٢ Āyah 32

هُوَhe ٱلَّذِىٓ(is) the one who أَرْسَلَhas sent رَسُولَهُۥhis messenger بِٱلْهُدَىٰwith the guidance وَدِينِand the religion ٱلْحَقِّ(of) [the] truth لِيُظْهِرَهُۥto manifest it عَلَىover ٱلدِّينِall religions كُلِّهِۦall religions وَلَوْeven if كَرِهَdislike (it) ٱلْمُشْرِكُونَthe polytheists۝٣٣ Āyah 33

يَٰٓأَيُّهَاo you who believe ٱلَّذِينَo you who believe ءَامَنُوٓا۟o you who believe إِنَّindeed كَثِيرًاmany مِّنَof ٱلْأَحْبَارِthe rabbis وَٱلرُّهْبَانِand the monks لَيَأْكُلُونَsurely eat أَمْوَٰلَ(the) wealth ٱلنَّاسِ(of) the people بِٱلْبَٰطِلِin falsehood وَيَصُدُّونَand hinder عَنfrom سَبِيلِ(the) way ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَٱلَّذِينَand those who يَكْنِزُونَhoard ٱلذَّهَبَthe gold وَٱلْفِضَّةَand the silver وَلَاand (do) not يُنفِقُونَهَاspend it فِىin سَبِيلِ(the) way ٱللَّهِ(of) allah فَبَشِّرْهُم[so] give them tidings بِعَذَابٍof a punishment أَلِيمٍpainful۝٣٤ Āyah 34

يَوْمَ(the) day يُحْمَىٰit will be heated [on it] عَلَيْهَاit will be heated [on it] فِىin نَارِthe fire جَهَنَّمَ(of) hell فَتُكْوَىٰand will be branded بِهَاwith it جِبَاهُهُمْtheir foreheads وَجُنُوبُهُمْand their flanks وَظُهُورُهُمْand their backs هَٰذَاthis مَا(is) what كَنَزْتُمْyou hoarded لِأَنفُسِكُمْfor yourselves فَذُوقُوا۟so taste مَاwhat كُنتُمْyou used to تَكْنِزُونَhoard۝٣٥ Āyah 35

إِنَّindeed عِدَّةَ(the) number ٱلشُّهُورِ(of) the months عِندَwith ٱللَّهِallah ٱثْنَا(is) twelve عَشَرَ(is) twelve شَهْرًاmonths فِىin كِتَٰبِ(the) ordinance ٱللَّهِ(of) allah يَوْمَ(from the) day خَلَقَhe created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth; مِنْهَآof them أَرْبَعَةٌfour حُرُمٌ(are) sacred ذَٰلِكَthat ٱلدِّينُ(is) the religion ٱلْقَيِّمُthe upright فَلَاso (do) not تَظْلِمُوا۟wrong فِيهِنَّtherein أَنفُسَكُمْyourselves وَقَٰتِلُوا۟and fight ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَthe polytheists كَآفَّةًall together كَمَاas يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمْthey fight you كَآفَّةًall together وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟and know أَنَّthat ٱللَّهَallah مَعَ(is) with ٱلْمُتَّقِينَthe righteous۝٣٦ Āyah 36

إِنَّمَاindeed ٱلنَّسِىٓءُthe postponing زِيَادَةٌ(is) an increase فِىin ٱلْكُفْرِthe disbelief يُضَلُّare led astray بِهِby it ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve يُحِلُّونَهُۥthey make it lawful عَامًاone year وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥand make it unlawful عَامًا(another) year لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوا۟to adjust عِدَّةَthe number مَاwhich حَرَّمَallah has made unlawful ٱللَّهُallah has made unlawful فَيُحِلُّوا۟and making lawful مَاwhat حَرَّمَallah has made unlawful ٱللَّهُallah has made unlawful زُيِّنَis made fair seeming لَهُمْto them سُوٓءُ(the) evil أَعْمَٰلِهِمْ(of) their deeds وَٱللَّهُand allah لَا(does) not يَهْدِىguide ٱلْقَوْمَthe people ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers۝٣٧ Āyah 37
